Some weeks ago I bought my first serious sketchbook. Of course, I do already own a few, but I never really managed
to do draw in them. I guess we all know the struggle. At first, the pages seem so new and white and it's a pain to make mistakes in such a beautiful book.
However, mine is a plain one. It's bundled by a coil, which makes it easy to use in any circumstances, and there's no decoration on it. And, what can I say, I'm drawing in it pretty well.
Which means that I'll concentrate on practicing more, looking at special things like hands, faces, animal anatomy, stuff like that.
(Yes, sadly the majority of drawings displays girls so far. That's why I'd like to focus more on the male anatomy next.)
In general, I am very happy about how I improved over the course of the last two years. Comparing my old and the recent art is an interesting thing to do. :3
Moreover, it does encourage me to go further. This is not the end, it finally is the beginning I was looking for.
Let's see where this leads. ^^
Old... and new.
